#1:Giantex Portable Washing Machine, Full Automatic Washer and Dryer Combo, with Built-in Pump Drain 8 LBS Capacity Compact Laundry Washer Spinner for Apartment RV Dorm
Very nice machine, used on a boat
Purchased to be used on a live aboard 38’ boat. We were very concerned about the size and energy requirements, as we have limited space and wanted to use energy from solar panel to run it. Unit is stored in the head but moved to the galley as smaller sink can’t drain the water fast enough. Observation: This operates like a real washer, it’s very quiet, the spin cycle is very effective. It uses about 6 gallons of water for a medium load. The 2 wash cycles get the clothes remarkably clean, but would like the option of only one rinse cycle. At 45 lbs, I can move it as needed. I can run the unit from a 1000W inverter and my solar panels (500W) can handle the 5 to 15 amp loads without depleting the boat’s batteries.
We are very pleased with the washer, although water requirements are significant for a sailboat. Anyone staying at a dock with water and electric would be very happy with this machine
OMG !!!
Ok so I’ve had this for a lil bit I am a family of 4 and this lil thing is AMAZING! Yes I have to run a few loads then if it were just 2 of us anyways this lol thing gets my stuff cleaner then my regular washer it’s crazy . hook up was easy everything fit the way it was needed I still can’t believe how much cleaner my stuff is I can fit 2 pants and 4 shirts and some socks on the high level I sooooo recommend this lil wonder you won’t regret it
Over 3 years old! AWESOME
I bought this in my last apartment which was small. Put in in the kitchen. Now I've since moved into a house but the thing is still kicking! 100's of loads over 3 and a half years July 23 will be 4 years. It's a lil on small side but break load into 2 or 3 smaller loads and it's not so bad. Fits about 3 pairs of pants and 2 shirts at once. But I'll take that over sitting at laundromat anyday. As far as build quality it must have good motor cause it's been fine. No leaks or failures. Has a soak mode (50 min) and regular (33 min) and can set water level low, med or high. I usually always just use high but you can do small quick loads n save water if needed. I love this thing so much I've gone back just to make this review. I'm gonna get full size but waiting till this thing dies...if it ever does lol. Need a small trust worthy washing machine for apartment. This is it. Can drain right into your kitchen or bathroom sink. Hooks up to any faucet with correct adapters (any hardware store should have em) I had one I got off Amazon so I could switch between kitchen sink or divert right to washing machine with a little lever. Was about 10 bucks. A diverter valve it's called. Forget size I'd have to look. ¾ to faucet size I believe.
WONDERFUL!
A great little machine that does a beautiful job. Despite not having wheels it is not too hard to move if necessary. The power of this machine is as good as, or better than, any full sized washer and the drain pump along with the final spin makes the clothes nearly dry when finished. I just put on a hanger overnight and the job is done. Hardly any wrinkles even after the spin dry....just a quick snap and hang to dry. Love this machine and since it's small it fits nicely in my very tiny studio apartment. The "quick connect" is great and the level was good without any adjustments. Couldn't ask for more!! A+A+A+A+A+
Love it
I bought this about 4 months and I finally get to use it since I got help to figure out on how to get it to connect to my sink (I’m not smart about that kinda stuff😂) but anyways I just wanna say I love this washer you can actually fit a good amount of clothes in it and as long as you keep up with laundry its not bad. Also if you don’t have the space or washer hooks up this is a perfect washer if you have that situation. I love it and the price was definitely worth it😎
Well worth the cost
We love this little washer! The only time we hear it is in the room it's in or if a load is unbalanced. It works well. The spin cycles get most of the water out. Clothes don't drip when hanging to dry. Unlike the last portable washer we had, the filter in this one works well. There's no lint in our clothes. Giantex was great to work with too. Errors in shipping on my part we're easily fixed. Good customer service!
Awesome little washer
We have been living in our RV for 2 full years now. We bought this right when Covid started shutting down places and we didn't want to use laundromats. We are a family of three and this thing also handles my mechanic uniforms. Clothes are hung dry in the RV with a dehumidifier blowing on them (it's Florida, rain). Just remember to clean the lint filter.
